#PrayersforBoston

I am at a loss for words.

The Boston Marathon is weighing pretty heavily on my brain.

As a human being.  As an American.  As a runner.  As a marathoner.  I am saddened.

I don’t understand acts of violence.  I don’t understand harming innocent people.

Young, old.  Men, women.

I don’t understand the thought process behind the ruining of precious human lives.  Forever altering the course of so many.

I simply don’t understand.

I can not wrap my mind around it.

What can possibly be proven by this?

I am not sure I will ever understand.

My thoughts and prayers to those in and around Boston.  To those whose lives will never be the same.  To those who will always question why?  To those that lost loved ones today…on a day that should have been a day of celebration and victory and accomplishment…my thoughts and prayers are with you.

A twenty - something (at least for a little while longer) trying to squeeze the most out of life...but mainly baking/cooking up a storm in my kitchen while watching Netflix.
